New Alura Kit From Duclos

A few weeks ago, I dropped a little sneak peak photo of the prototype Carry Handle & Motor Bracket Kit. Fitting and testing was a breeze and everything is ready to ship. Head on over to DuclosLenses.com for all the details. Oh, and don’t worry… The 18-80mm kit is on it’s way as well.

Prototype fitting, unanodized bare aluminum.

Designed specifically for the Fujinon/Arri Alura 45-250mm Zoom Lens, the Duclos Lenses Carry Handle and Motor Bracket enable mounting of a Heden M26T motor while offering a secure, comfortable handle to grip while handling and mounting your heavy zoom lens.  Yet another uncompromising product from Duclos Lenses machined from high quality billet aluminum, designed, machined, and assembled in So. California. The Alura 45-250mm Carry Handle and Motor Bracket kit includes all of the hardware and components needed to install and use in a matter of minutes. The kit is attached to the lens with a series of critically placed machine screws and a solid aluminum band for extra piece of mind. Completely non-destructive, the Carry Handle and Motor Bracket keep all factory markings unobstructed.

  1. Hello Mr. Duclos. I have heard very good reviews of the Fujinon PL zooms, but I would like to ask you, have these optics the asthetics of the old Fujinons EBC M42 lenses? Or are even superior. I have a set of the old Fujinons and I have delight moments with their “bokeh” and color render.
Pardon my english and thanks for the invaluable information you gave us.
