Zeiss has been working hard to bring three promised focal lengths to life, ahead of schedule. The much desired focal lengths are an 18mm T1.5, a 40mm T1.5, and a 200mm T2.2. The addition of these three lenses really fills out the Supreme Prime line very well.

The newest wide-angle lens from Irix joins the ultra-wide 11mm, standard 45mm, and macro 150mm.  Inspired by their popular Firefly and Blackstone 15mm f/2.4 models, the new cinema lens is lightweight, affordable, and exhibits very little distortion.  Available in EF, E, PL and Micro 4/3 mounts.

Cine Gear is Near!

Cine Gear Expo LA is coming up fast! But Duclos Lenses is ready.

In addition to exhibiting our usual collection of lenses and accessories, we’ll be giving special attention to our Lens Service Department – the foundation on which Duclos Lenses was built. Ken Block’s Gymkhana Two Video

I was invited to the Los Angeles Harbor, for Ken Block’s newest viral video to try out a lens I’ve been working on. The day I went was a “pick-up” day with only a skeleton crew. About 15 people total shooting scenes that needed to be redone or added for one reason or another. Jay Schweitzer was there with his RED camera waiting to slap on a nice wide angle lens for some specific shots. Mayhem ensued as one would expect with Ken Block behind the wheel of a fully tuned Subaru WRX STi.  Check out the video…
